Meribel Restaurants

Cheese, potatoes, steak and much more!

Whether you're looking for a cheap bite on the mountain, a proper mountain restaurant experience or a restaurant for chalet night off, here are a few of our best suggestions:

Light bites

Sandwiches Savoyarde

This kiosk in Mottaret centre is the home of the infamous Mountain burger and is not to be missed. For just 7 euros you get a huge burger in a gigantic french bread bun topped with melting raclette cheese, salads and sauce. You won't be hungry after one of these.

Village des Pains

The bakery in Meribel village, a 25m walk from the end of the piste is a fantastic pit stop for a sandwich, slice of pizza, quiche lorraine and numerous sweet treats. They also serve hot drinks and on some afternoons, freshly made crepes and waffles.

Grand Marnier Creperie

In Meribel centre just a short walk from the Chaudanne, you can eat in or take-away your crepe to order. With a huge menu of fillings, no one will be disappointed and for the adults, you can douse your crepe in as much Grand Marnier as you can handle!

Bakery in the Forum

Located in the Forum shopping centre just behind the ski lifts in Courchevel 1850 this bakery is jam packed with savoury and sweet treats including freshly made sandwiches, tarts and fougasses (a cross between a foccacia and a pizza). There is a reasonable amount of indoor seating so it's good for a snowy day although does get very busy.

Lunchtime restaurants

La Terrasse, Meribel Village

With new owners and recently refurbished, La Terrasse is a great choice for lunch. Located right next to the Lapins piste it has a large sunny terrace, delicious daily specials, rotisserie cooked meats, home-made burgers and savoyard specialities.
